Pair bailed on kava selling charges
Two Queensland men have been granted bail on charges of possessing and supplying a commercial quantity of kava.
Police allege Tevita Falala and Sunia Kolo sold 200 kilograms of the powdered drug to the remote Aboriginal community of Gapuwiyak in the Northern Territory.
The pair were given $5,000 bail and $5,000 dollars surety and will have to report to police stations near their homes in Brisbane and the Gold Coast twice a week in south-east Queensland.
They will reappear in court next month.
